During the mega audition she received a very encouraging feedback from Sajid, one of the judges in the show. “A little training can make Sniti Mishra one of the toughest contestant of this show,” Sajid said.

Sniti is well trained in classical music and has been learning Hindustani vocal from Guru Raghunath Sahu for the last 10 years.

“She was barely two-years-old when she started to sing and we saw that she was quite good at it. At the age of 12, she starting taking classical music lessons from Guru Raghunath Sahu. Since then she has been learning classical vocal from him,” said Sniti’s mother Sabitanjali Udgata.

“She can sing all kind of songs. She was asked to do a Sunidhi Chouhan number during the Kolkata audition, which she did successfully. We feel that she will definitely be among the top five contestants and if everything goes well, she could win and become the Singing Superstar! The public voting will also matter a lot,” said her mother who accompanied her to the Kolkata auditions.

Guru Raghunath Sahu is all praises for his disciple. “What holds the key to her success is her sincerity. She is too quick at learning things and is never tired of doing riyaz regularly.
